AERONAUTICAL INFORMATION PUBLICATION

This amendment contains the following changes:
1. Change of visiblity of aerodrome, OCA(H) into MDA(H) of Instrument approach chart and addition of visiblity of some aerodrome instrument approach chart.
2. Change in the approach and RWY lighting information of Deglii-tsagaan aerodrome.

INTRODUCTION OF AIS DIVISION
Mongolia ratified the Chicago Convention on International Civil Aviation in 1989 which places upon requirements of ensuring civil aviation safety for its Contracting States.
Satisfying the requirement in its Annex 15, which states: “An aeronautical information service shall receive, collate or assemble, edit, format, publish/store and distribute aeronautical data and aeronautical information concerning the entire territory of the State as well as those areas over the high seas in which the State is responsible for the provision of air traffic services. Aeronautical data and aeronautical information shall be provided as an Integrated Aeronautical Information Package”, Aeronautical Information Services Division of Civil Aviation Authority of Mongolia was established on 01 October 2002.
AIS Division is responsible for receiving, formatting and editing aeronautical information and aeronautical data necessary for safety, regularity and efficiency of air navigation from data originators and provide the parties involved in flight operation with these information/data in paper or digital format.
The following types of aeronautical information services are provided in accordance with Civil Aviation Rule 175: • NOTAM exchange • Aeronautical Information Publication • Pre-flight information • ATS Reporting office (ARO)
